Emmanuel Ramasso

Emmanuel Ramasso received a B.S.C degree in automatic control and computer science from the engineering school "POLYTECH'SAVOIE" (Annecy, France) in 2004. He then earned a Ph.D. in image/signal/speech/telecom from the University JOSEPH FOURIER (Grenoble, France) in 2007. Emmanuel Ramasso was then a postdoctoral researcher at Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique (CEA, Paris/Saclay, France). In september 2008, he became Assistant Professor at "Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques" (ENSMM, Besançon, France). Besides, he perfomed his research in Department "Automatique et Systèmes Micro-Mécatroniques (AS2M)" of the research institute FEMTO-ST where he focused on scientific problems related to information fusion and fault prognostics applied to real industrial problems linked to maintenance optimization. His research interests include also graph theory, probability theory, Evidence theory / Transferable Belief Model. He also carried out some projects related to human motion recognition and 2D-3D image and video analysis.
