Mickaël Hilairet

Mickaël Hilairet was born in Les Sables d’Olonne, France, in 1973. He received the Electrical Engineering degree from the Hautes Etudes Industrielles School (HEI), Lille, France, in 1997, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (INPT-ENSEEIHT), Toulouse, France, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nantes, Saint-Nazaire, France, in 2001.
From 2001 to 2003, he was an Engineer at Thalès-Communication and Geral, France. From 2004 to 2012, was with the University of Paris-South XI and the Laboratoire de Génie Electrique de Paris (now GEEPS, as an Assistant Professor of electrical and computer engineering.
He is currently a Full Professor at the University of Franche-Comté, Belfort, France, where he is with the “Franche-Comté Electronique Mécanique Thermique et Optique - Sciences et Technologies” Laboratory (FEMTO-ST, UMR CNRS 6174). His main research interests are drives control, estimation, diagnosis, and control of fuel cell system.
Prof. Hilairet has been a Guest Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS Special Section on Industrial Applications and Implementation Issues of the Kalman Filter. He is associate editor of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS and SPRINGER INTELLIGENT INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS.
