Vincent Laude's (scientific) Home Page

I am a CNRS full-time senior researcher (directeur de recherche CNRS). CNRS stands for Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, a French public research institution dedicated to the advancement of science.

I am hosted by the FEMTO-ST Institute, Micro Nano Sciences & Systems (MN2S) department, in Besançon, France. FEMTO-ST stands for Franch-County Electronics Mechanics Thermics Optics - Sciences & Techniques.

My research interest is about "waves" in a broad sense, with an emphasis on acoustic and optical waves and their interactions, especially in micro and nano-structures (phononic and photonic crystals). Please see the pages of the Phononic Crystals group at FEMTO-ST.

Ongoing projects in the Phononic Crystals group @ FEMTO-ST

TAILPHOX is a FET-open European project funded under the FP7. TAILPHOX stands for TAILoring photon-phonon interaction in silicon PHOXonic crystals. MINIPHON is a national project funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR, programme Blanc). MINIPHON means MINIature PHONonic crystal transducers. phoXcry is a national project funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR, programme P3N). phoXcry stands for phoXonic crystals in lithium niobate.
