Abdelkrim Khelif is the recipient of a CNRS 2007 bronze medal

Abdelkrim Khelif was awarded one of the 2007 bronze medals of the CNRS. According to the official wording, "The bronze medal acknowledges the first years of research of a talented young scientist. This award is an incentive from the CNRS to pursue well engaged and already productive researches."

Abdelkrim Khelif joined the CNRS in 2002, as a tenure researcher. His work focuses on phononic crystals, periodically structured materials that display astonishing acoustic properties, such as complete band gaps (regions of the frequency spectrum inside which wave propagation is inhibited whatever the polarization or the direction).

Two CNRS bronze medals for FEMTO-ST

Aude Bolopion (biomedical micro-nano robotics) and Nadia Steiner (fuel cell diagnostics) are awarded with the CNRS 2019 bronze medal for their promising research.
