Mardi 4 Décembre 2018 à 10hPhD Work :"Using Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks for 3D scene acquisition and reconstruction"
Abstract : The development of wireless sensor networks is one of the main reasons that led to the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT).This is due to the miniaturization of the sensors, their reduced cost, and their efficiency in terms of digital data acquisition. In particular, the multimedia data whose volume continues to increase with different applications and in the various fields (Military, Medical and Industrial).
In addition, the use of stereo 3D images has increased significantly in recent years. This makes it possible to provide additional information relating to the depth dimension generally not available with the 2D images.
This document has been transformed into a 3D scene reconstruction system using disparity maps from multi-angle stereoscopic images in the context of multimedia sensor networks. The work is divided into three parts. The first part is a first study of components, topologies, constraints and limitations of multimedia sensor networks. Then, an exploration of the method of the calculus of the disparity to a text in the text, a text to a text in the text. In the second part, we experiment with simulations, calculation methods of disparate maps, variations of conditions, coverage distances, viewing angles, number of nodes. In the third part, we model the network of sensor of the tree of binary, in order to calculate the maps in different ways, using multiple sensors. These maps have not been reduced, will be transmitted at the base station for a 3D reconstruction of the scene or object in question. The results of the transaction were then converted. This leads to the proof of the usefulness of the exploitation of the maps for the 3D reconstruction, in the context of the networks of multimedia sensors.
