Jean-Baptiste Sanchez

<p style="text-align: justify;">I graduated from the University of Franche-Comté in Besançon (France) and I received the Ph. D in chemistry in 2005. From 2005 to 2006, I was a full-time researcher at the CEA (Valduc, Dijon). In 2006, I was then nominated as Assistant Professor at the University of Franche-Comté. Since 2014, I was appointed Associated Professor in the same University. Presently, I am the head of the chemistry-teaching department of the University of Franche-Comté.</p><p>Since 2017, I am now working within the MIcro NAno MAterials &amp; Surfaces team (MINAMAS) in the Micro Nano Sciences &amp; Systems (MN2S) research department of the FEMTO-ST Institute. My research activities are devoted to the development and characterization of gas detection micro-systems (mainly metal oxide based-gas sensors). They are focused on two main axes:</p><p>- Synthesis and characterization of sensitive surface (sol-gel process, reactive sputtering, electropolymerization…),<br />- Development of microfluidic devices using clean room facilities in order to increase the sensitivity and selectivity of detection microsystems.</p><p>I supervised and co-supervised 4 PhD students and I authored or co-authored more than 33 papers in international peer-reviewed journals.</p><p>You can access to all my publications on ResearchGate with the following link:<br />https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Jean-Baptiste_Sanchez</p&gt;
