« Second Prize Paper Award » de l’IEEE IAS pour Daming Zhou

Lors de la conférence internationale « 2016 IEEE IAS Annual Meeting » qui s’est déroulée à Portland, États-Unis entre le 2 et 6 octobre, un doctorant de l’équipe SHARPAC du laboratoire FEMTO-ST, M. Daming Zhou, a reçu le « Second Prize Paper Award » de l’IEEE IAS (Industry Application Society) pour la publication intitulée : « On-line Estimation of Lithium Polymer Batteries State-of-Charge Using Particle Filter Based Data Fusion With Multi-Models Approach ». Cette publication a été réalisée dans le cadre de sa thèse co-signée avec M. Ke Zhang, M. Alexandre Ravey, M. Fei Gao et M. Abdellatif Miraoui. Les travaux de Daming ouvrent de nouvelles perspectives quant à la détermination de l’état de charge de batteries Lithium Polymère en permettant de corriger les erreurs d’estimation par la fusion de différents modèles (physique et circuit équivalent électrique) en temps-réel. A terme, cela permettra de mieux gérer le calcul de l’autonomie restante des véhicules hybride et électrique. Daming entame actuellement sa troisième année de thèse où il développe des modèles multi-physique temps-réel applicable aussi bien à des batteries ou des piles à combustible.
