Visite du Préfet du Doubs à FEMTO-ST

Joël MATHURIN, nouveau Préfet du Doubs, est venu découvrir les activités de recherche de FEMTO-ST vendredi 25 janvier dernier.

Accueilli par Jacques BAHI, Président de l’Université de Franche-Comté et Laurent LARGER, Directeur de FEMTO-ST, Le préfet aura pu visiter les installations technologiques à l’intérieur de la salle blanche. Ce fut également l’occasion de lui présenter des recherches dans le domaine de l’acoustique avec des travaux sur les métamatériaux qui permettent de lutter contre les nuisances sonores et qui doivent prochainement déboucher sur la création d’une start-up, ou encore dans le domaine de l’optique avec l’usinage par laser femto-seconde et des sondes IRM miniatures…
