FEMTO-ST is launching its support program for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships applications !

The Boostcamp is a two-day intensive workshop aimed at helping international researchers develop a strong application for the 2025 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship.

FEMTO-ST is launching its first Boostcamp to attract top international researchers and support them in applying for the 2025 MSCA (Marie Skłodowska-Curie) Postdoctoral Fellowship. This personalized two-day online training, held on June 2 and 3, is designed to guide candidates through the application process and strengthen their proposals.

What is the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA PF)?

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA PF) supports promising postdoctoral researchers by helping them develop their academic skills, gain international experience, and strengthen their career prospects through mobility.

The funding covers the postdoctoral researcher’s salary as well as research environment costs, training, and networking expenses for a duration of 12 to 36 months. It also provides financial support through mobility and housing allowances.

The grantees will be announced in February 2026, with projects starting from April 2026.

What is the Boostcamp organized by FEMTO-ST all about?

The Boostcamp is a personalized two-day online training on June 2 and 3, designed to help you prepare a strong and competitive application for the MSCA-PF. We will dive deeper into the proposal writing process, and you will have the opportunity to enjoy one-on-one sessions with your potential future supervisor.

This program focuses on an interactive and participatory approach, ensuring an engaging learning experience. The mentoring will be particularly valuable, as candidates will integrate a renowned scientific community while benefit from in-depth scientific guidance from the lab’s experts.

Candidates will have full freedom in choosing their project and the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary collaborations across multiple laboratories.

To take part in the Boostcamp, the eligibility criteria are the same as for the MSCA PF scholarship:

  • A PhD obtained or defended before the application deadline (before September 10, 2025)
  • A maximum of 8 years of postdoctoral research experience
  • Compliance with mobility rules: no more than 12 months of residence in France during the past 3 years

Your participation in the Boostcamp is completely free, but you will need to commit to submitting an MSCA PF application in collaboration with FEMTO-ST after the Boostcamp.

To apply, please submit your CV, a cover letter and a scientific proposal (2 pages max) including the department you would like to join, keywords, objectives and a summary to applications@femto-st.fr.

Application deadline: May 15th. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. As spots are limited, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible!
