National Days on Emerging Technologies in Micro-Nanofabrication

These scientific days, which take place from November 30 to December 2 in Besançon, France, bring together the major French players in micro-nanotechnologies, process engineering, physics and modeling of manufacturing processes.

Organized at SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM under the aegis of the microtechnology network of the Renatech CNRS network, the aim of these days is to improve the dissemination of results between the scientific and industrial communities, to strengthen interactions between the main players in the integration of micro-nanotechnologies and to create a continuity of expertise from fundamental studies on materials to applied research in process engineering.

More than 120 participants are expected, including several research centers (Centre à l'Energie Atomique de Saclay, Laboratoire d'analyse et d'architecture des systèmes (LAAS-CNRS), speakers from prestigious institutions and universities (University of Tokyo, Japan, University of GHENT, Belgium, University of Serbrooke, Canada, Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands) but also many industrial partners (Accurion, Innodys, Codex, KCryogenics, Hummink, Nextron, Süss Microtech...).

On this occasion, Martin Wegener, from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and holder of numerous awards (René Descartes of the European Union 2005, the Carl Zeiss Research Award 2006, the Stifterverband Science Award - Erwin-Schrödinger Award 2016, Technology Transfer of the German Physical Society (DPG) 2018), will honor us with his presence and participation in these days dedicated to emerging technologies.

Moreover, the courses of the School of Micro-Nanotechnology will take place in the premises of the FEMTO-ST Institute on November 28 and 29.
