Kien Phan Huy was born on August 24, 1979 in
France. He received the Ph.D. degree in optoelectronic
from the Institut National Polytechnique de
Grenoble, Grenoble, France.
In 2007, he joined at the Université de Franche-
Comté and the Franche-Comté Electronique,
Mécanique, Thermique et Optique –Sciences et Technologies
(FEMTO-ST) Institute, Besançon, France,
as an Associate Professor. His research interests
include whispering-gallery mode micro-resonators,
photo-refractive solitons, pyrolitons, two-photon
sources, frequency bin entanglement and Brillouin scattering in optical nanofibers.
