Fei Gao wins the "Sustainable Future Visionary Award"

Full professor at UTBM and researcher at FEMTO-ST institute, Fei Gao is today one of the world's leading specialists in fuel cells and digital twins.

Presented by Typhoon HIL, Inc. this year, the award honors a teacher-researcher for his "outstanding educational and scientific contribution to a better and greener energy landscape through the propagation of model-based technologies."

The award recognizes his innovative research on ultra-fast (nanosecond scale on FPGA processor) real-time models for power electronics and hydrogen fuel cells, which have been leveraged by the company for the past few years in the global market.
