Percipio Robotics, prix de l'innovation au concours national de robotique

Pour la première fois en France et dans le cadre de son programme « La Nouvelle France Industrielle », le ministère de l’Economie, de l’Industrie et du Numérique a organisé, le 5 février 2015, un concours sur le thème de la robotique. Percipio Robotics, start-up de l'institut FEMTO-ST, commercialisant des robots de micromanipulation, a obtenu, dans ce cadre très compétitif, le prix de l'innovation de la robotique collaborative.

Ce prix distingue le caractère innovant des produits de Percipio Robotics basées sur les technologies initialement développées par FEMTO-ST.

En constante évolution, la robotique collaborative est aujourd’hui un secteur majeur de la robotique industrielle. La nouvelle génération de robots, ou cobots, permet une collaboration rapprochée entre l’homme et le robot. Les nouvelles technologies développées assurent une assistance au geste dans de nombreuses activités professionnelles et donnent la possibilité de réaliser des tâches difficiles et pénibles dans un contexte plus favorable. La cobotique est la solution proposée par Percipio Robotics pour que la manipulation de microcomposants puisse être enfin accessible à l'Homme. Le jury du concours a été particulièrement séduit par le robot "chronogrip" de Percipio Robotics munis de nombre interfaces innovantes qui permet une manipulation aisée de microcomposants à peine visible à l’œil nu par un opérateur.
