Concours posters doctorants : 11 ambassadeurs récompensés

11 doctorants de 1ère année mis à l’honneur lors de l’Assemblée générale de FEMTO-ST du 10 juillet.

Sélectionnés par le conseil scientifique de FEMTO-ST sur la base des 57 posters présentés, les 11 finalistes du concours de posters des étudiants de 1ère année de doctorat viennent de faire de courtes présentations de 5 min chacune sur le travail/sujet de thèse lors de l’AG de FEMTO-ST du 10 juillet. Les votes en ligne des membres de l’institut ont permis d’élire les ambassadeurs FEMTO-ST et remettre les premiers prix suivants :

  • Maxence Leveziel “Modeling , design and control of miniaturez parallel soft robots with configurable platforms” (Robotics & Automation)

2eme prix

  • Julie Aubry “On-board fault and degradation tolerant control of a PEM fuel cell” (Energy)
  • Arthur De Sousa Lopes Moreira «Development of high-temperature passive and wireless sensors operating in harsh environments” (Time & Frequency)
  • Shambo Mukherjee “Ultra-stable compact Febry -Perot cavity” (Time & Frequency)

  • Valeria Viviana Belloni “Ultrafast laser materials processing in the GHz regime” (Optics)
  • Julio Andrès Iglesias Martinez “Dynamical behavior of mechanical metamaterials for ultrasonics” (Micro-Nanosciences &Sysytems)
  • Fangnao Xiao “A hybrid microstructure design strategy achieving W-ZrO2(Y) alloy with high strength and critical failure strain” (Applied Mechanics)

  • John Dudley awarded by the international Society of Optics and Photonics (SPIE)

    He obtains  the "SPIE Harold E. Edgerton" Award 2019 for pioneering applications based on ultra-short light pulses in optical fibers.

    Several members of different scientific departments of FEMTO-ST were rewarded for their joint paper "Photonic microsystem made by dynamic microassembly" at the ISOT conference "19th International Symposium on Optomechatronic Technology" which took place from November 5 to 8 in Cancun

  • Entrepreneurs-PhD Award : Second place for Vladimir Gauthier at the national level

    Awarded for his « CellSelect project » he proposes a robot capable of improving the precision and speed of cell sorting in the field of innovative therapies.

    His work is the result of research carried out of Biomedical Microrobotics Team of FEMTO-ST Institute.
