Inauguration plateforme µROBOTEX

Dans le cadre de la semaine européenne de la robotique, FEMTO-ST inaugure lundi 25 novembre à 10h dans les locaux de l’ENSMM (Besançon), sa nouvelle plateforme dédiée au développement de projets sur la manipulation et l’assemblage automatisé de micro/nano-composants dont les dimensions peuvent être inférieures à 10 μm.

Financée par le Programme d’Investissement d’Avenir et le Conseil régional e Franche-Comté, cette installation de 780 K€ est aujourd’hui opérationnelle et des premiers tests d’imagerie et d’utilisation du FIB ont été effectués avec succès. L’équipe de développement de cet équipement, constituée d’ingénieurs et d’enseignants-chercheurs spécialisés en micro/nano-robotique et en vision sous MEB, a mis en place un mode de fonctionnement favorisant, notamment, l’émergence de projets de transfert de la recherche vers l’industrie.

An innovative solution to detect pollutants in the subsoil

Researchers from FEMTO-STinstitute and the company TOTAL SA have succeeded in detecting organic pollutants with methods that did not require sampling and have been able to monitor the evolution of the pollution of the subsoil over periods ranging up to several years.
