FEMTO-ST lance un nouveau centre de développement technologique

Le bulletin officiel du ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche n°26 du 27 juin 2013 concrétise la création de la fondation partenariale dénommée Franche-Comté’Innov (FC’Innov) qui hébergera le projet FEMTO Engineering.

Porté par l'Université de Franche-Comté et soutenu par le Conseil Régional de Franche-Comté, FEMTO Engineering se propose d’être un nouveau centre de développement technologique issu de la recherche de l’Institut FEMTO-ST dans les domaines de la microfabrication et du micro-usinage, du temps-fréquence, de l’énergie et des « Smart Systems".

L’objectif est notamment de proposer aux industriels des prestations de développement de technologies ou de produits spécifiques dans le prolongement de l’activité de recherche de FEMTO-ST mais à un niveau de maturité technologique plus proche du marché.

  • Understanding energy transfers during photosynthesis

    Using three pigments manipulated by scanning tunneling microscopy, researchers from IPCMS and FEMTO-ST are studying energy transfers between molecules to gain a finer understanding of the photosynthesis mechanism in plants. This work is published in Nature Chemistry.
