FEMTO-ST launches the second edition of its MSCA-PF Boostcamp in 2026

Following a successful first edition, FEMTO-ST is pleased to renew its Boostcamp, a dedicated online training designed to support applications to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF). The 2026 edition will take place on June 2–3, 2026.
This program is open to late-stage PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers who wish to take the next step in their career by developing an ambitious research project in an international context.

Over two days, participants will receive tailored guidance to strengthen their proposal. The Boostcamp combines methodological insights, personalized feedback, and direct exchanges with potential supervisors at FEMTO-ST. It also encourages interdisciplinary approaches across the institute’s research departments.

About MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships
MSCA-PF support the international mobility and career development of postdoctoral researchers. The fellowship provides funding for salary, research activities, training, and networking, for a duration of 12 to 24 months.

Why join FEMTO-ST?
FEMTO-ST is a leading institute in engineering sciences, recognized for its scientific excellence and strong international outlook. It offers a dynamic interdisciplinary environment, close collaborations with academic and industrial partners, and an attractive living and working environment in eastern France.

Projects can be developed within one of FEMTO-ST’s seven research departments:
•    Automatic control and micro-mechatronic systems
•    Computer science
•    Energy
•    Applied mechanics
•    Micro- and nano-sciences and systems
•    Optics
•    Time-Frequency
The institute is also committed to supporting researchers beyond the fellowship, with a long-term integration perspective.

Eligibility criteria
To take part in the Boostcamp, applicants must:
•    have defended their PhD before September 9, 2026
•    have no more than 8 years of postdoctoral research experience
•    comply with MSCA mobility rules: applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in France for more than 12 months in the 36 months prior to the application deadline

Participation is free of charge, with the commitment to submit an MSCA-PF proposal in collaboration with FEMTO-ST.

How to apply
Please send your CV, a motivation letter, and a short research proposal (max. 2 pages) to: applications@femto-st.fr
Application deadline: May 8, 2026
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, subject to available capacity.
