Premier prototype européen de robot endoscopique pour la micro-chirurgie laser des cordes vocales

La chirurgie des cordes vocales, pratiquée notamment en cas de lésions cancéreuses liées au tabac, se heurte à plusieurs difficultés, tant pour le patient (douleurs cervicales post-opératoires liées à la position pendant le geste), que pour le chirurgien (accès compliqué, précision insuffisante, matériel encombrant).

Pour pallier ces inconvénients, le projet européen μRALP* a porté sur la conception d’un robot endoscopique combinant guidage robotisé, imagerie en temps réel du tissu cancéreux, visualisation en réalité augmentée et chirurgie par laser. Au terme de 3 ans de développement, des essais précliniques sont effectués sur des cadavres à l'institut d'anatomie de l’université de Franche-Comté.
