ZETA-SE : A new start-up born out of the work of FEMTO-ST

Founded in late July 2025, the company offers customized anti-vibration solutions for industry.

Vibration attenuation is a technological and scientific challenge in many fields such as transportation, aerospace, and energy production. Traditionally, vibrations are blamed for reducing user comfort, shortening the lifespan and reliability of systems, and damaging structures. In optronic devices, for example, they interfere with sensor and camera measurements. In addition to these essential functions, meeting specifications is becoming increasingly ambitious, as it is now necessary to guarantee performance levels in hostile environments (temperature, humidity, etc.).

The solutions currently available on the market have reached their limits and can no longer meet new requirements. Vibrations are therefore proving to be a limiting factor in the design of tomorrow's systems and structures.

The objective of ZETA-SE is to design and develop a new generation of vibro-acoustic control devices for multiple applications, customized and robust for operational conditions of use.

These vibration control devices provide very high vibration attenuation while being highly insensitive to the thermal environment and the frequency band in use. In addition, a specialized tool, incorporating all the expertise of the vibration control team, allows these devices to be designed predictively, adapting to each specific application. This tailor-made design guarantees a high level of performance for companies wishing to overcome vibration problems.

Its manager, Kevin Jaboviste, who has benefited from strong support from the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region through the Itinéraire-Chercheur-Entrepreneur (ICE) program, has already secured research contracts with major industrial groups (THALES, ASLTOM, STELLANTIS, etc.).
