EFTS - Séminaire européen temps-fréquence

Ce séminaire organisé par le département Temps-Fréquence de l'institut traite de la métrologie
temps-fréquence et de ses applications :

oscillateurs et haute
performance pour le domaine militaire et spatial, horloges atomiques,
échelles de temps, applications à la physique fondamentale, à
l'astrophysique, à la géodésie, à la navigation, à la synchronisation
des réseaux de télécommunications.

Cette école thématique EFTS s’adresse à un large public : ingénieurs, doctorants, étudiants,
postdocs, jeunes chercheurs, tous utilisateurs ou nouveaux venus dans le
domaine du temps-fréquence.

Des travaux pratiques sur les
instruments utilisés en recherche sont prévus. Les participants pourront
manipuler eux-mêmes, en situation réelle, un choix étendu
d’appareillages mis à disposition.

  • First demonstration of self-confined nonlinear waves in plasmonic structures

    By providing the very first experimental evidence of the existence of this phenomenon, FEMTO-ST researchers and their partners hope to be able to generate this nonlinear effect using low intensity laser sources, in order to use it for nanophotonics applications.
