European Time and Frequency Seminar (EFTS)

The Frequency and Time Department of FEMTO-ST and the LABEX FIRST-TF network are pleased to announce the 2013 European Frequency an Time Seminar (EFTS), a one-week summer school organised from Monday, August 16 to friday, August 30 2013 at the Frequency and Time Department of FEMTO-ST (hosted by the ENSMM).

The EFTS is intended to provide education and training, including laboratory practice in a full-week seminar, and targets the broadest audience: Engineers, Ph.D. students, post-docs, young scientists, newcomers, who wish to keep up to date with recent research progress

in the field of Time and Frequency.

    Scientifique passionné, professeur à l’ENSMM jusqu’en 2006 et directeur du Laboratoire de Chronométrie, Electronique et Piézoélectricité entre 1978 et 2002, Raymond Besson était réputé dans la communauté internationale du temps-fréquence pour ses résonateurs à quartz et est décédé ce 15 avril.
