Thibaut Sylvestre reçoit le prix Fabry de Gramont 2012

Responsable de l'équipe Optique Non Linéaire du Département d'Optique de FEMTO-ST, Thibaut Sylvestre vient de se voir décerner le Prix Fabry De Gramont 2012 de la Société Française d'Optique pour ses nombreux travaux et résultats marquants en optique non linéaire sur fibre (laser Raman à fibre à très haute cadence - 100 GHz, amplification paramétrique ultra-large bande passante pour les télécommunications optiques, génération de supercontinuum UV-visible-IR, interactions opto-acoustiques (Brillouin) dans les fibres optiques micro-nanostructurées, ...).

La remise du prix a eu lieu mardi 9 juillet 2013 à Villetaneuse lors du congrès Optique Paris 13. Il vient récompenser un jeune chercheur (entre 30 et 40 ans) reconnu internationalement et dont les travaux de recherche ont été remarqués pour leur qualité et leur originalité.

Thibaut Sylvestre rejoint ainsi la liste des lauréats francs-comtois (Alain Lacourt, 1978, Jean-Pierre Goedgebuer, 1979, et Daniel Courjon, 1989) et vient combler 23 ans de diète bisontine !
